The Doctor's probably just jealous that Jack's not flirting with him (yet).
Oh yes. Ten's all "Jack you're wrong" but he doesn't want him looking at anyone else. *smirk*
The first time I watched it he reminded me of Hartnell's Doctor. (of course the reason why is D'oh!obvious now) I wonder if that was a conscious decision or if it just happened that way? I have the feeling it was a conscious decision
IIRC Louise page in the commentary said they were going for that kind of look.
Also, I'm sure that the Doctor is lying when he says that the TARDIS doesn't love him any more and ran to the end of the Universe to try and escape him.
I've long thought that the TARDIS is alert to danger and heads for the nearest source of it that's suitable for the current Doctor. How else can one explain all the slightly-of-course landings that dump them into the midst of trouble that the Doctor can (only just) fix?
Until proven otherwise IMO the TARDIS wasn't trying to get away from Jack, instead the TARDIS recognised immortal!Jack as the extra person needed for the Very Important Problem at the End of the Universe and headed straight there once he was 'on board'.
