Ninth Doctor and Rose Layout

Layout Information

• Available for FREE and PLUS and PAID accounts. Hoorah!


• S2 - Flexible Squares


• Need to have somewhere to host your images


• Crediting is love and please link me to your journal once you've installed your layout so I can see how it looks :)


• Feedback from people using IE7 or Safari encouraged as I don't have either browser so was unable to test how it looked on either of them.

Download the images zip file from {here}
Download the txt layout file from {here}

Part 1 - Upload your pictures to your chosen image host (I recommend using LJ's Scrapbook if you are a paid user) and make a note of the urls for each image as you will need them later on.

Part 2 - Prepare your layout file

• Open up the file in notepad or similar


• Replace every instance of YOURURL.HERE with the URL of that image file


• Save

Part 3 - Add your theme
Step 1
Go to Customise Journal. Make sure the S2 radio button is checked. Click on 'Save Changes'.


Step 2
Click on 'Look & Feel'. In the 'Layout & Language' section choose Flexible Squares and in 'Themes' Default Layout. Click on 'Save Changes'.


Step 3
Click on 'Custom Options'. Change the sidebar position to 'Left'. Click on 'Save Changes'.

Step 4
Click on 'Custom CSS'. Copy and Paste your amended txt file into the big box. Click on 'Save Changes'

A very, very long time. Woes. Hopefully, now I've done one I'll be able to knock them out in less than eight or nine hours.

Now I get the whole coding thing that should be a lot more straightforward. it's the doing the graphics and making it look pretty thing that takes all the time.
