Not so wanktastic for me unless you are offended that I put you in a filter called 'friends' - but that may not be the case for you. Of course, even though there is a very definite feeling against it, LJ will go with it anyways regardless. eejits.

Mm the only filter I have is "flist", so that I can just read my journal without the community posts. From reading through the comments there, I think it would be better for people to be able to set it themselves, but it doesn't affect me.

It doesn't really affect me as I also have the generic 'Friends' filter listed. However, it seems like an invasion of privacy if you wanted to post something about one of your RL friends to get advice on how to handle a situation and then that person can see they are on a different filter. It just seems like it would bring up more drama.
