On my way home from work I drive through some quintessential rolling countryside. One of the fields is full of winter greens and for the last couple of weeks has been home to two massive flocks of sheeps. One flock is at one end of the field and the other at the other end. As they eat their way through the greens the electric fences that split them up move closer and closer together.

The other night there was only about 10ft of uneaten field splitting them up and the two flocks were facing off at each other in a kind of woolly West Side Story (complete with gambolling).

Last night when I drove past all the sheeps were gone. All that was left was some tufts of wool on the electric fences and that strip of uneaten field.

Also on my drive home last night I saw a real, live wild deer, standing not more than 20 metres further down the road from the road sign that warns of deer. It was stood looking over a hedge watching the traffic go by.

And there was a buzzard sat on the roof of our house this morning. (Probably debating if Bilbo was a suitable source of food).

Living in the countryside is ace!

Had a call off [livejournal.com profile] amybrown584 who's still living it up in the future and had just seen 4x03 of Lost. She couldn't be bothered to text so rang instead so go "OMG!" Apparently the Australian trailer for next week shows a lot of semi-nekkid Sawyer (which is always nice). Our rubbish Sky ones don't. Pah.

Thought of the day:
Would Craig David be as famous as he is if not for his parody on Bo'Selecta?

I do feel Mr Craig David would have been forgotten long ago were it not for Bo'Selecta! The "craaaaaaaaig david" sequence is something that is forever burned into the nations minds!

I love the country *sigh*
I've just seen Episode 4 and it does indeed show lots of naked Sawyer flesh for you to look forward to *grins*

That sentence alone made me snort and sputter in an attempt to hide hysterical laughter. It almost makes me want to visit the country. Almost. :P

The deer and the buzzard are very country-like. Tell Bilbo not to play with the big birdies because they don't like nice.
