But it's left me with some questions:
[x] Will he be sporting a goatee?
[x] Will he be wearing a leather coat of awesome (as seen in The Lakes and LoM
[x] Will he be in any of the Jack episodes? (which would be so made of win it's ridiculous)
[x] How gutted will we be if this turns out to be an awful mistake and it's not actually true?

I knew it would happen, despite all their talk of him being too cheesy. Bwa ha ha! And couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. Hope he gets to keep the accent.

1. Not sure about this. Plus it'll probably be patchy-greyish.

3. Oh for him to flirt with Jack and ignore Ten! The best thing would be for him to infiltrate the team, Turlough-style and make best chums with Jack and Martha and then TAKE OVER THE SHIP bwa ha haaaa.

That would work, albeit possibly might be too reminiscent of Eric Roberts before he went all uber-camp in the final 10 minutes of the TVM...

If there's any truth in the various rumours, I suspect so - they must be on the last two or three eps now, and they're the ones Jack's meant to be in, so...

Well the BBC haven't made any comments on the rumour, so i guess there is some truth to it.

Though to be honest i get the feeling we'll see John Simm at the very end of series 3, laughing his way into a TARDIS and disappearing into the Vortex with a dumb founded Doctor looking on in shock/horror.
