Writer's Block: Beware the clown puppets!!

I had the classic Clown!fear, I was absolutely petrified of them as a child. (Which is why I cheered at that episode of Buffy when Xander punched the clown).

Also beards. My Dad went away on a course for a week when I was about 4. When he came home he'd grown a wispy beard thing. It made me cry and cry and cry. (Not the reaction he was after I don't think). I think this stems from the fact I was scared of Kenny Everett. Now that is an irrational fear.

OMG! I can't even imagine having a crush on him. Was it his cross dressing?

I think the man-in-a-dress-with-a-beard pinged something in my head somehow, though god knows what. I was massively fond of Russell Harty and Larry Grayson too.

I was a bit weird as a kid. :)
