Review: Crowded House
I went to see Crowded House last night at the NEC. (And there's something I never thought I'd say after they split up ten years ago) but like a lot of bands who called it a day in the nineties they're back and it's like they've never been away.
They should have played Symphony Hall or the ICC. Don't get me wrong, I love the NEC, but the stage is *much* too low and if you're seated on the main floor (the bit that is usually the standing area) you can't see a single thing and after spending £37.50 on my ticket I was not pleased to discover that my main view of the evening would be the massive moon-heads ahead of me and a tiny corner of the video screen. Seeing Crowded House themselves. Pfft, I should be so lucky.
