Prison Break! Prison Break!
Oh Prison Break. How I have missed you. Oh Sky, how you annoy me with your massive bug across the screen – if I wanted to watch it in HD I’d be paying out £20 a month for it, stop trying to advertise your rubbish value for money system. Gah.
[x] The new sets look ace. The set-design geek inside me loves the way all the cells are quite individual with their paintings and stuff like that. And the contrast between Fox River (with it’s good facilities, whitewashed walls and service tunnels to allow easy breakout) and Sona (which is hell on earth) is striking. The overhead shots of the prison are rather wobbly though. Not a patch on the Torchwood ones :D
[x] Considering they’re in Panama, a country hardly known for its skiing you think that Michael would at least roll his sleeves up. But no. Maybe they spent all the budget on the new prison set leaving no money for temporary tattoos? This makes me sad. Especially after watching the pre-series special that was on Sky on Sunday which had series1!Michael flashing his tats willy and also nilly.
[x] Bellick in baggy, dirty y-fronts is easily the most disturbing thing I’ve seen ever
[x] T-Bag is as awful as ever, but also showing his smarts by getting snug with the Big Fish in the little Sona pond.
[x] I notice Michael’s learnt himself some leet self-defence skills too. And not just from talking to Mahone either.
[x] Oh Mahone, how deep your fall is going to be :( Will we be seeing your redemption this year?
[x] I hope it was Sara who scratched the hell out mysterious Company!lady. Maybe in a bit of a bitch fight setting. I’m guessing we won’t see much of Sara in the early part of this year as she’s just become a mummy.
[x] I want to know how they managed to track down LJ, if he was in ‘hiding’ with those friends of his dad’s? Obviously not hiding him very well.
[x] I do like the scenes where it’s just Linc and Michael together. Like when Linc was telling him that he’ll break his brother out. Bless him. I predict (with real internets money and everything) that Lincoln will have his top undone halfway down his chest for the entire series.
[x] Who is the mysterious Whistler? And why is he hiding in the sewers? And will we get some answers in the next couple of weeks? And what did his message to his ‘girlfriend’ mean too? So many Questions and we’re only about half an hour in.
[x] His Lordship has a new Prison Break Break song. He rang me in the first ad-break to sing it to me. Oh, how I laughed.
