Bilbo Update:
The biopsy results are back. It's not a tumour (hoorah!). Apparently Bilbo has very high levels of a certain type of white blood cell - generally triggered by an allergic reaction. However, the vet has no idea what Bilbo is allergic too. He thinks most likely it's a flea allergy (as it is the most common form of allergy in a cat) so I have to flea-drop him every 4 weeks instead of every eight (which is how often I normally do him).

So Bilbo's had a sprained ankle and a flea allergy and it's cost us £500. Gutted. The insurance company are very quiet at the moment. Bet you a catnip flavoured cat toy that they won't pay out.

Bilbo's trip(s) to the vet has had some good though. Bilbo is now much more loving - he's probably afraid i'll take him to the vets and leave him there. LOL.

Only two days until I go and walk the plank for charity (this is a thinly disguised hint to sponsor me, the link is in the top of the sidebar. thankyouverymuch). Not allowed to dress up all pirate-like for Health & safety reasons so have made a rather nifty skull and crossed-swords t-shirt. Once it's dried I'll take a photo.

I finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist last night with the film - borrowed from my FMA-loving friend. I'm a bit sad that it's all over now because I did rather enjoy the series. It appeals to my sensibilities.

I need another anime to sink my teeth into. Suggestions please!!!

So H&S will let you walk off a plank but not dress as a pirate? Huh?

H points out that this is because piratey clothes absorb water and drag you down. This is possible, I suppose.

Aww, poor little Bilbo! But at least you know what's wrong with him now so that's something at least.
