Please can you explain to me why you think anyone would want to repost comments or posts belonging to other people to Twitter or Fabebook? Especially Twitter, it's only 140 characters.

LJ have introduced "share this" things which are common on other blog platforms, without an opt-out system, and with an allowance for f-locked stuff to be shared on FB and twitter. This is bad coding of what ought to be a useful feature, and fairly typical of the way LJ implements things. And also, why I am on Dreamwidth now.
