Pushing Daisies
I am still loving this and it's technicolour wonderfullness.
[x] Young Ned looks so much like grown up Ned. That's a really nice bit of casting. They both have the same slightly sad expression. Poor lads.
[x] Digby is so made of awesome. He's like a younger, hunkier Lassie. Saving people, fetching balls and being able to dance ith emo-ladies. Is there anything Digby can't do?
[x] Ned's hilarious lumpy face and his tragic bee story made me do actual laughs. This is a very good thing.
[x] I wonder how many people want to be an unorthodox honey bee pioneer? Why is it illegal to keep bees in a ton? Is this a common law in the US?
[x] That poor dead birdie. Did you see it's face when the plane crashed into the flats? Animatronic birds for the win.
[x] This week's moral queston: who deserves the live most? a pigeon or a squirrel? Discuss. That's actually quite a hard one, if it was a pigeon and a red squirrel then the answer would be easy - the squirrel s red squirrels are made of rare win. Grey squirrels however ar the devil's bird.
[x] Best exchange of the evening:
The aunts: For what reason would we go out for a pie?
Olive: I'll think of one.
[x] Am I alone in thinking just how ace it is that the Pie Hole serves milk with all it's pies?
[x] Chuck pretending Leftie's hand is Ned's. Awww. Their love is so unconsumated. Although they would be the perfect poster boy/girl for safe sex.
[x] Action!Ned - complete with slide action. What a guy.
[x] Pidge has a brilliant replacement wing. I also like the fact he is really blinged up. That'll show all the other pigeons.
[x] The NARM windmill lady is the real-female version of Matt Lucas. Just look at her - it's a nicer, less racist Majorie Dawes
[x] A Little Bird House in Your Soul!!
[x] Wonder if Heather Mills is going to get one of those little diamond holders for her false leg. Oh wait, that was a bit tasteless, no?
[x] Handcuffing the one armed man. D'oh!
[x] Oh, I LOVED the dancing on the rooftop at the end - well you know me, I'm a sucker for a good bit of ballroom. I finished the episode with this face: :D
I do hope this is Weebl and Bob's favourite show. PIE!
