I think like most women who watch this show I remain disturbingly in love with Gene Hunt.

Unlike some I really like Alex.

I spent that either squeeing, laughing or crying.

I loved Gene's so-not-bothered-except-that-I-am when he was asking Alex out. And then they didn't go out after all. We was robbed!

I though that, if anyone was going to die, it'd probably be Shaz, since she's not one of the Manc Crew, and we'd get Chris's Righteous Vengeance. But she beat the Creepy Evil Clown of Death! Hooray!

And next week we get 1981 London's version of Frank Morgan?

YAY SECOND SERIES

I quite like the off the shoulder tops- although I think they must be bloody annoying to actually wear. :D

I've been thinking about the Bomb and the possibilities for future series (and also how Alex's "fictitious constructs" thing sometimes annoys me) and my solution is: she does stop the bomb, we get a montage of her getting new memories which tell her that, even though she stops this bomb the threat against her parents doesn't go away with it and they end up dying another time/date. And the next season is about her a, trying to stop the next threat, b, trying to identify where the threat is from, and c, trying to work out whether or not she can cause changes to the future/the real actual not-made-up-in-her-head past. But that's just me speculating.

I'm really quite enjoying Ashes to Ashes.
