Some more glass fusing

The red pieces of glass in the middle have mica flecks brushed onto them as does the middle clear piece on the left. All the rest were left plain as I want to use them for my Pay it Forward meme.

This is my slightly more scientific batch of glass.
Two plain pieces of deep red glass. A strip of black glass with two different types of dichroic layered on top of it (based on something I'd seen in a jewellery shop)
The ones in the middle on the left and right use special reactive glass what does all strange and unusual things when you add copper-based glass (blue glass generally, the left one has coarse cyan glass and the right blue powdered glass) and fuse it. These are my experiments, the bottom left piece of glass was an experimentation with fuchsia glass.

And these are how they'd turned out. I'd over fused them a touch so they were more rounded than I actually wanted, but they're not too bad.

Can you see where the reactive glass has discoloured the blue glass giving it a coppery tinge around the edges. I like it.

I also like the mica-dusted pieces of glass.

More pretties :D

I think the mica flecks are my faves.

I love the double-dichroic piece on the left in the 'finished' picture, particularly its shape. It's very pretty.

And of course, anything sparkly gets my approval so I like the mica ones too!

So beautiful. You should set up a mini business making jewellery, you'd make loads from it!

Oooh, all quite lovely! And yes, the reactive blue/copper glass is quite striking. I think that may be my favourite...
