antumbral makes a really good post over on Dreamwidth about the new affliate mining code LJ have implemented with instructions on how to opt-out.
Does anyone know of a script or something we can put into our custom layout layers to block LJ from redirecting links for people who haven't opted out (i.e. people who read your journal but don't have an LJ account) because there's some awful privacy issues around every link that is HOVERED over being sent on to a third party.

Thanks for the heads up. Not heard of a script yet but I would have thought greasemonkey would be the best bet.
It makes you wonder what the point is of having a paid account...
