New Year's Resolutions

I’d like to aim to post 1-2 times a week, there’s lots of good telly I want to talk about!
Post more regularly to my crafts journal
I’ve not posted on it since the summer, and I’m doing crafty stuff every week so there is really no excuse. I’ve started taking photos of the stuff I’m doing and uploading it to Wordpress, so all I have to do then is write up the posts. To this end I’ve downloaded Wordpress for my phone and I can start doing it at lunchtime at work. My aim is to update every Thursday (because then I can talk about what I’ve done at Silversmithing class).
Open an Etsy/Folksy shop
My aim to do this is February 2012. I’m in the process of making 10 items (resin pendants) to go into the shop and at least then I can see if they sell or not. There will be a follow-up post regarding said shop shortly.
Attend at least one local craft fair
The little independent crafts centre by me does a crafts fair every couple of months. When the
weather improves I’m going to get myself a table booked. I’m already planning my table and how
I’m going to display the jewellery. I bought my sister-in-law a soap making kit for Christmas and she’s said that she’ll share the table with me if she really gets into making her soap. Obviously I’m going to need to make some more stuff. I’m going to sell all my old glass pendants that I made before I had the baby.
Use my kiln again
I’ve got a little workbench that I can set it up on in the garage and I’m desperate to try out some enamelling techniques which I need the kiln for (as I can’t do it with the torch.)
get more active in fandom again
I’ve really dropped out of fandom in the last couple of years. I only mod a couple of comms now and do the newletter, I miss getting involved so I need to make more of an effort to do that.
We'll see how well I've done with this in 12 months time.
