OMG! Cole from Sunset Beach. I got a right attack of the squees when I realised it was him. Nice to see he's learnt some new facial expressions since his SB days - now being able to do perplexed and worried.

Loved the premise - aliens invade the Earth hidden in the eye of a Hurricane. Only it seems that they've been here for a long time if some of the hints are to be believed.

The cute little girl!poppet isn't annoying and she's got a Bilbo!cat.

Got more squeey when the brother in law started going on about EBE's in an X-Files stylee.

I did quite like it. I don't think it's going to take me over as much as Lost has but I'm going to give it a good six episodes to convince me otherwise. The first epsiode wasn't as good as the second, but pilots are often expositionally-heavy so I'll let it slide (for now)

Cole?!?! If I had realised I might have moved away from the computer last night long enough to watch. But hey, I think I got some work done during the first episode, so time at computer is okay. I remember the days of daytime tv and sunset beach (I loved boarding school - longer holidays than everyone else).

At Uni we organised our lectures around Sunset Beach so that we wouldn't miss it. My house was addicted, absolutely addicted.
