Prison Break! Prison Break!

kalihaWell I may have got spoilt – majorly – for this week’s episode but it didn’t spoil the enjoyment of it too much because I did guess that it was most likely to be Sara’s head in the box at the end of last week’s episode. I would have preferred not to have had it confirmed by three different people over the following week though.
[x] Thanks for traumatising me with the death of poor Haywire again. I hope his dog’s okay. It was very creepy, the way he was lurking around, like Pipes, in the background everywhere. Funny how it seems to be Haywire who affected Mahone first and not Tweener or John Abruzzi. Mind you, isn't Tweener in prison in RL?
[x] How long will it be before Linc tells Michael about Sara? The shit’s really going to hit the fan when it happens.
[x] Oh boo hoo, poor special forces lady. She’s having a pity-party because she had to chop Sara up into little chunks. More effective surely just to lop off a few fingers, because Michael isn’t going to be the most co-operative and she is going to be hurt when Michael catches up with her. Probably.
[x] T-Bag’s keeping himself busy too at the moment. Working his way into the cool kids gang. I would be surprised if more of the cool kids aren’t being picked off over the next few weeks. Also surprised that he’s not getting in with Michael to break out again.
[x] Michael may not have the prison tattooed all over his body this time but he still knows where everything is. I don’t think we’ll even get rolled up sleeves this year. Such a waste of a brilliant make-up effect.
[x] Clever Michael trying to distract Mahone as much as possible with the Quest for the Black Felt-tip Pen.
[x] Sucre is a rubbish undercover gravedigger. Look at him grinning at Michael when he picked up the drugpusher’s body. The lime stuff melting the electric fence was brilliant. All Michael has to do now is come up with someway to avoid the guards. They need Frodo’s cloak.
In conclusion, yes it was rather enjoyable, but I’ve not got the love I had for it over the last two seasons. This makes me sad. :(

Me and His Lordship have been yakking about it this week.
His Lordship: I couldn't work out if us not seeing Sara was a plot line (I thought it wasn't her to start with and it was a trap to get Linc) or whether she's off having a baby or sommat

__kali__: wasn’t her sitting on the chair, it was a body double cos she’s off on maternity leave. It’s the reason she was kidnapped along with LJ. Like Scully getting abducted by aliens and a bit easier than her wearing a long trench coat to cover her bump in hot, hot panama.
His Lordship: I guessed right then. Nice twist!

His Lordship: I bet she regrets the day she got tangled with that Scofield fella.

I think a lot of people are going over the top. Like with most secondary story arcs in Prison Break, they start getting a bit dull towards the end. I don't really mind her dying as I found it was getting frustrating. Like Lincoln's ex the reporter and he baddy/goody mate in the first series. When their story started it was a very strong second story but the more it went on, the more it dragged so they killed them off.
It's a good thing, it'll spur Michael on and give the series a better edge. Having said that, it was a cheap way in which they did it

But annoying that it’s going on a couple of week’s break now though. It’s only been on a month! Maybe they should start filming earlier in the year to allow for an unbroken run up until Christmas. I mean we’re only going to get maybe another four possibly five weeks before Christmas.
