And I do believe the singing was actually Katherine Jenkins so Welsh seems to fit.
Are you sure of that? I thought it sounded quite a bit like Myles herself, but then they're both Welsh so I may have just heard the accent (and I have no idea what Eve Myles' singing abilities may be).
