So on Saturday His Lordship and myself decided to go on a bit of a ramble to Hawkstone Park. The weather was nowhere as nice as the last time I went to the park, back in September.
His Lordship thought he could see a big black cat on the other side of a field (it was about 1/3 mile away). It wasn't.
Useful tree roots for a hobbit to hide in.
Lots and lots of evil trees around the place.
Such fungi's to be with! /pun
It looks like a prop from out of a Resident Evil or a Silent Hill. You should be able to push it and open a secret door.
The rain water had shaped the dirt into little stalagmite type thingys.
His Lordship thought the outcropping looked like a crocodile.
This root looked like a roaring monster, apparently.
The Welsh Hills in the distance
The Wrekin.
A random tree on fire. really high up in the canopy. Luckily a farmer had spotted it.
It's such a tiny bridge.
It's Hobbiton! Actually, it's the front to one of the caves, unfortunately we didn't find our way out of the caves to it.
Some nasty little chavs burnt this folly down. It was the one that was linked to the Da Vinci code. Shame.
This little fella was patrolling the car park. He was ever such a friendly car park attendant. I wanted to take him home (but I don't think Bilbo or car park!kitten's people would be very pleased about that).
