I need some advice

People of ElJay lend me your ears! (I promise to give them back later).
My dear, beloved Nokia N95 is 18 months old next month which means I get an upgrade (yay!)
But what do I go for? I'm not particularly enthused with Vodafone at the moment due to them scrapping pay as you go internet access and replacing it with a 50p flat rate (I browse maybe four pages a day, costs me 10p at most - hence my unimpressed-ness) so I have no brand loyalty now and will jump ship to another service provider (who will probably be just as cack, but hey ho).
I've narrowed it down to two phones:
First up, the Nokia 5800.
[+] I've owned a Nokia in one form or another for well over 13 years now.
[+] I love the predictive texting system on it
[+] I can transfer over my contacts and Nokia maps stuff with little hassle
[+] I can type on it with my nails
[+] It's small and wee and I can use Micro SD cards in it
[+] Already have a car charger for it (and spare mains chargers)
[-] According to the forums, it's a bit buggy
[-] £7.50 a month extra on Vodafone for the interwebs
[-] Loads of people complaining that it's breaking within a month or so of getting it :(
Then the young challenger, the iPhone
[+] It's an iPhone!
[+] Twitter, Facebook and LJ apps
[+] unlimited internet and wireless for the duration of the contract
[-] Can only get from O2
[-] £100 is the cheapest I can get it but then there's the contract on top of that. So not cheap
[-] iTunes and I don't think you can stick mp3s on there. Converting 16gb of songs will be highly annoying
[-] Will have to manually transfer over the contacts
Now I like the iPhone and I like the 5800 but which is better?
There's only one way to find out...
