I reckoned that Matt was going to be going in the anniversary special as a big twist before the current run began. So I was close but no cigar and not betting winnings for me. Pah (because yes, I gamble on when people leave TV shows).

I am now hoping for Paterson Joseph to be the next Doctor but playing the Doctor in the style of Johnson from Peep Show, because I would love the hell out of that.

Seems a bit strange for this to come out about a fortnight after S8 being confirmed and the BBC announcing that Jenna and Matt would be back for S8. I wonder what's happened behind the scenes for this to be announced so early?
