And am now prepared for the last book. (Note to self, must buy more tissue) Spoil me and you will suffer terribly for it.
Jokingly asked my boss today if I could have Friday afternoon off as holiday so I could go home and nap, allowing me to stay up all night reading DH. He turned me down. What a meanie!
I'm annoyed that I have to work on Saturday (when it comes out here) - I know I get paid overtime but still! But the office is close to a shopping centre so I will be buying the book, then when in the periods of 'waiting for it to load' I will be reading, team mates or not! Somehow I can't say to my boss 'no I can't do that important upgrade because I will be reading Harry Potter'
Dude, you don't announce your plans in advance! You drag in rather pale-ly on Friday morning, tell him that you're not feeling too well but you're being a Brave Little Soldier and then by lunch you're just too tired/headachy/sick to go on, will go home to sleep it off, see you Monday.
And then on Monday, don't talk about the midnight madness party.
