Thursday had us on an away-evening to the ever-lovely Star City to go to see
Harry Potter (well if you want to see something on the big screen you might as well watch it on a big screen that's even bigger than your
house)
Because we went a day before everyone else it wasn't that busy, even less so because it was still a school night. Even so, we ended up with a bunch of chair kickers sitting behind us. You can drive a bleeding Segway down the rows - there is enough legroom for your feet so that you don't kick the back of my chair EVERY FIVE MINUTES!!!! (Sorry, bit of a CAPSLOCK!Harry moment there)
( thar be spoilers - but only if you've not read the book! )I have to say I did rather enjoy it. I think they are now finally hitting their stride and I'm quite looking forward to the next film (less so if the rumour of them introducing new, random characters who aren't in the books is true though)
8/10
Well Done.
I am somewhat nervous about Tesco's threats to sell the
Deathly Hallows early. Not that I won't get a copy but that I'll end up being inadvertantly spoilt on my way home from work if it is released early. After all
scumbags in Telford do have a habit of spoiling Harry Potter books the day they come out. Ooh that takes me back. Took me ages to find that 2-year old news story too. But I reckon the Bedsheet Spoiler will be out in force when the book is finally released, after all they did get on Sky News and BBC news with their antics. They want their fame.
Reading update: Have just finished
Order of the Phoenix today, so will be starting on
Half Blood Prince just before I go to bed, giving me 4 days in which to read it before Friday night.
