[x] Yay! Our first story focusing on one of the Others. Let's see how they ended up on the Island then.
[x] Ethan! Oh Ethan – you're looking more and more like Nathan Fillion every day! Nice to see him still appearing in the show, even though he was killed off two years back. And in the real world too. A neighbour of Juliet and her sister? Now how much of a co-incidence is that?
[x] Someone get Kate some supportive underwear, please. When she was running through the woods she nearly gave someone an eyeful. Mind you, I'm sure that Sawyer wouldn't have minded.
[x] So, Juliet is a fertility researcher/doctor and has developed a way of impregnating rats/sisters without having to have them naturally conceive. Why would the Dharma Initiative want this research?
Suddenly the need to collect people off the lists begin to become clear. They're human guinea pigs aren't they? Only they need people in certain medical health to run the experiments on. So they do their research using the plane's manifest (hence the massive portfolio of information on Jack) and make their selections from that.
[x] Jack's got flecks of grey in his beard! He's getting old! That makes me a bit sad. (Although, he could be a hot silver fox a la Pip Schofield.)
[x] I didn't expect him to be literally hit by a bus though. Ouch!
[x] The Dharma Initiative really, really want her. It's interesting to see how the Island has changed Juliet. She's not as weak and a bit rubbish like she used to be.
[x] I don't true Benry and Juliet in their casual letting Carl go. He's going to end up murderising the survivors in their beds. I can just see it. He's a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. That much is rather obvious what with all his involuntary conditioning. That was all very Clockwork Orange
I'm guessing that they only let Sawyer and Kate go so they can take Carl back. Hopefully Desmond (which his mad psychic skillz) will realise what's going on and save the day.
[x] Didn't think Juliet would kill one of the Others though. This one's got her own agenda, that much is clear.
[x] Juliet: "I can go home!"
Home! Home! Just go, just like that!!! I was copying Jack's gobsmacked fish-face. This opens up a lot of interesting questions. Is there an airfield or a really big yacht? Or is Benry just lying? Stop it with all the new questions Lost writers – it's going to make my head implode from the weight of them all.
So, what did you think?

Date: Saturday, February 10th, 2007 03:46 am (UTC)I was glad to find out more about Juliette. I've always been curious about her. Yay for seeing Ethan again. I love about this show that even after a character dies, it's not always the last you see of them.
Agree with you re; Kate's top. I was sure she was going to fall right out of it at one point.
I'm really intrigued by Carl. I want to see what happens with his character. I also want to see some more of the other Losties now, not just Jack, Kate and Sawyer. Much as I love K/S, it's time to give the rest of the cast some spotlight. It is supposed to be an emsemble show. I'm especially missing Charlie and Claire right now.
