OMG the sound's so out of synch! And the stupid DivX player keeps crashing.

I like the deep-voiced 'previously on Lost'. I want one of those.

The Others = I'm scared mummy

I dun like the Others, they mean. They smacked Sawyer in the face with a plank - they'll destroy his pretty face if they're not careful. Unless they don't want him to have any teeth...

Locke with hair is still amusing. He's still wonderfully bitter, still feeling the pain from being scammed by his Mum and Dad. His pain outdoes everyone else's in the support group.

And there's an early contender for best line(s) of the series:
Helen: "I like bald guys."
Locke: "I'm not bald." (although he is sporting the most prodigious comb-over I've seen since Donald Trump)
Helen: "I can wait."

Kate's really not crawling about in a quiet manner. But she had found a nice pump-action shotgun and she obviously knows how to use it. I'm seeing a Reservoir Dogs-standoff coming along.

Oh no! the computer's been shot up! Woe. "We're all gonna die." Quick someone get Sayid!!

Locke's dad is a right bastard. I hope he gets eaten by sparrows. Really slowly. Can Locke sue to get his kidney back?

Kelvin? Who's Kelvin? "Just saving the world". So Desmond is another island survivor, stuck here for three years. But did Kelvin come with the facility or was he another island survivor?

I know Sawyer's only out to save his own (rather torn-up skin) but he is quite with the heroics at the moment. Oh look the Others have given them a gift - Ana Lucia.

Love Locke's comment about Desmond having seen Jack before: "that would be impossible". Surely Locke out of all of them being the Voice of The IslandTM and all should know that the impossible does happen. Hence 48 survivors of a horrific plane crash, his walking ability. All impossible, all happened.

There's a film? Is there popcorn?

But enough of that, let's settle back and watch the video.

It has little midi bagpipes!

Bloke!Doctor wouldn't look about of place in a Open University programme. Look at that beard. Beautiful and almost Brian Blessed-like in its lushness.

Unique electro-magnetic fluctuations? That'll explain the compass that doesn't point north. (And I'm not talking about Captain Jack's compass either).

Mini!Crystal Dome. It's like some freaky Big Brother task. So that's what Hurley's friend heard over the radio then. These chaps playing with their numbers.

Awww, Helen gave Locke a key to her TARDIS. Sweet. And she's a bit of a private investigator.

"40 of us made it" Who else has died then?

Seems she is the only survivor from the tail-section. Doesn't bode well for Rose's hubby.

Jack seems to think it's a Big Brother Task. And he's not impressed at all about it all. How can Desmond's fillings hurt, I though the metal they use is non-magnetic.

Oh no, Desmond broke the Sekkrit Scientific Lair. Nice yellow emergency lights. Poor Locke he's getting no help from the Island today.

It's the cavalry! Sayid's taking the whole super sekrit lair thing well.

Hurley's found the pantry. :D *giggles* The look on his face is priceless.

Oh she's one of the bad guys. What a bitch. That's really not going to endear her to the Ana Lucia!haters. Not one little bit. And she smacked Sawyer in the face. Which doesn't endear her to me either.

Ahh, Desmond remembers Jack. Jack's unhappy about this. You'd think he'd be happy to see a friendly face. Although he's obviously not enjoying the reminders of his past. I smell some more bad hair!Jack flashbacks in future episodes.

Aww, don't go Desmond.

So then, in a theorising manner, is the electromagnetic fluctuations preventing electronic 'eyes' from seeing the island and rescuing them?

SOMEONE PRESS THE BLOODY BUTTON!!!

PRESS THE BUTTON!!!

Bloody hell...

And now it's Locke and Jack, typing in those numbers...I'd be evil enough to just once, not put them in and see what happens. :D

better copy, audio synch fixed

DivX isn't really doing well with the latest encoding codecs. I'll paste here what I put in lost_eps:

TRY VLC PLAYER

You can get it here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

When it goes to play a file, if it finds that you don't have the proper codecs (the bits of software that tell your computer how to play any kind of media file), it gets them and installs them automatically.

It's free. It works. They have versions for PC, Mac, and Linux. You really can't beat it.

There is a good sound copy floating around somewhere, darlin'. But yes. How good is this season? I'm really very impressed. Not so much with Alias though.

I'm yet to see anyone who has a good word to say about the new season of Alias. I'm d/l the good quality version as I type, but I *had* to see it, I couldn't wait! (I'm so impatient)
