Pushing Daisies
November 21st, 2007 07:41 pmWoot, catching up. On episode 6.
On a sort f related note. His Lordship got as far as Olive closing up shop in episode 2 and declared that he was never going to watch any more. This makes me a bit sad. He's obviously a bit rubbish. (Although he'd definitely disagree)
[x] plasticine!Ned and co were so cool. With their little animated arms and legs, which, like real plasticine people, fell apart as soon as you looked at them.
[x] Wouldn't it be depressing to lose the ability to dream, I'd hate to have that happen, especially as I'm not particularly talented in real life, but in drams I made completely made of awesome (and then some) (What can I say, I have modest dreams *ahem*)
[x] "Wearing hope on your head."
[x] Ned watching Chuck sleep. They have just the most messed up relationsip, with their two beds. Why put yourself through all the heartache. But that's what we do for love.
[x] It was so obvious it was a dream. But in the comedy of it all it did bring up a very salient point - hat if one of them sleepwalks and bumps into the other bed. Trauma all round.
[x] Platonic rubbing - it really is the best sort of rubbing. Although it does cause terrible static.
[x] The lights in The Pie Hole are cherries!!! Why have I not noticed that before?
[x] Oh come on, how many people are killed by the handle of a silver hairbrush? Seemingly many, it was in some british murder mystery I caught the other day whilst channel hopping too.
[x] Emerson's car is a complete health hazard. There' a distinct lack of seatbelts. What happens if there's an accident? Chuck would go flying straight into the back of Ned and then it would be trauma all round. Agin.
[x] Digby the undercover dog. Love his eyebrows, not sure the green really suited him though.
[x] There's some awful clicker use there. You should only click when the animal/small child you're trining does something good - and you should reward with a treat too. Simone was a bad clicker. Bad girl, naughty girl in your bed!
[x] Emerson's dream = too much pie. I love the way it dances alon the line of compelte crack, but still manages to be somewhat plausible.
[x] Ned has a knack at breaking Olive's heart. At least he realised that he did it this time.
[x] Olive is definitely the best out of the (human) cast. trufact.
