LJ are bringing back Basic Accounts. Only they're not. They're bringing us slightly less ad-covered free accounts. And by the looks of things if you have a basic account which is ad-free at the moment, it won't stay that way for long. I say by the looks of things, because it really isn't clear. Fail LJ.

***

Due to His Lordship being made of fail I won't be going to see The Dark Knight at the IMAX this weekend. This makes me very very sad.

***

I need to remember to book my car in for its £140 warranty service. I don't know where I'm going to find the money to pay for it :( I don't get paid for another fortnight.

***

Work is so made of fail it's not even funny.

I still owe you money for that Hamlet ticket, would it help if I sent it over?

Do you? Did you buy [livejournal.com profile] kharma2815's tickets from her? I'm all confused. This is what happens when I don't have my Hamlet notes on this computer. Pah.

Oh, I think I owe the money to taliah_rose then... sorry, I got all confused because I paid you in cash the last time :)

checked my notes, you definitely owe the money to talia not me. Glad that's sorted.

However, I do appear to have two tickets unaccounted for. Which is a bit worrying.

I'm just glad that you're the one still having the tickets (you do, right?) because well, I get a bit nervous about things like that.

And two unaccounted tickets could sell quite well on ebay...

you have my sympathy, I was hit for £310 by the optician this morning for appointment fees, contact lens check fees, new glasses and new contacts and I don't get paid for 2 weeks either :-(

LJ continues to disappoint. Unfortunately, fandom is unwilling to move to greener grass.

Life is generally made of fail for me at the moment too. Rang up about going on my mum's car insurance the other day, and because of an accident that happened last year that wasn't her fault, and the stupid insurance company STILL not giving her back her 6 years no claim bonus, it'll cost me £300.42 a month to go on her insurance.

FAIL.

I shall be sad with you :(
I agree LJ is also made of fail a la basic accounts.

Stupid LJ. Out of the group I hope they go with Proposal 2. The rest are stupid and I would hate it. I'd probably go to a sponsored account for my graphics comm if most people are going to get ads anyway >:(

*hugs you*

LJ needs to work on their corporate communications, methinks. I do feel sorry for the poor guys responsible for it, though; PR employees are often not involved in the actual business decisions, but they have to get them across to the customers and deal with all the complaints that will inevitably follow.

I hope things are work get sorted. I meant to say to you before that I wish you luck in finding a better job. You deserve it.

Thankfully Dave found the £225 for stitching Saxen back together. But I have to break the news to him soon that he needs to pay the stupid water bill (£52 per month). So you have my sympathy about the car. Oh, and even if I had passed my test on thursday I can't drive my car until I get my handbrake sorted. Which Dave killed. Yes, you completely have my sympathy. You don't deserve all this rubbish.
