A random cat!update!

It's the time of year where Bilbo starts to take his revenge against wasps and tries to eat his own body weight in stripy stingy creatures.

Unfortunately his cunning plan is about as cunning as a week-dead weasel. And is now sporting a massive fat lip for his trouble (pictured).

I'm not too worried about it. This is the fifth year that it's happened, and it's certainly not preventing him from eating (my ice cram and my applewood cheese sammiches). But he is off to the V E T S to get his teeth cleaned (now there's a morning of fun for all the family. I hope my V E T S has some blowdart-style tranqs because he's not going to go quietly.)

He's currently asleep with his head on my hip. Bless. It's very rare that he's all snuggly like that. And it's happening more and more often. I like my sliding-ungraciously into middle age cat.

Tilly tried to eat a wasp once and even had it in her mouth, but I got it away from her before it could sting her.

I bet he's going around telling all the other cats he got in a huge fight with like 5...no 10, big dogs and he killed them dead and all he got was that fat lip...

Poor Bilbo. I just want to squish him there, aww. My Cat prefers to go for moths, it's the puppy that likes the wasps. She thinks they want to play.

His poor lip! That looks painful! I do hate wasps though, so I can't say I blame him. My cats like to go for anything bug/spider related. Since they are house cats they've managed to avoid wasps this year thus far.
