I'm watching the Heroes preview thingy on BBC 2 at the moment. In fifteen minutes we've had two Muse songs, including Newborn! This pleases me greatly. It worries me that I can pick out Muse intros in two or three bars. (Although showing a montage of people getting killed isn't really in keeping with the lyrics of the song :D)

Did some more jewellery soldering. I shall go and take some photos in a bit and I'll post it to show and tell.

In other news I made probably the best Apple and Parsnip soup ever. It's completely nom nom nom. Even the cat is chowing down on it. Much to my annoyance.

Beware of picking out Muse songs from the first few bars - there's a scene in Jean Luc Godard's Bande a Part (1964) in which one character unquestionably breaks into the intro to Plug in Baby, only to pretend it's a Bach fugue in D Minor...
