Against my better judgement I'm going to be back watching this again this series. (After being completely distraught over little baby Toto, I couldn't take it for another series). Now they've got FIVE! little cheetah cubs (why are they called cubs and not kittens when they're big cats?) for me to fall madly in love in and cry over when they die.

Bilbo is a bit concerned by the lion roaring and is looking behind the telly for whoever is making the noises.

I did proper :O face when I saw five cubs. I am preparing tissues already.

Although Shakira is proving that, like Honey before her, she's one brave mum!

I couldn't believe it when she faced down that male lion! She knows that male lions are dead lazy though and will only chase for ten feet or so before getting bored.

Unfortunately, on Breakfast this morning it was revealed that Shakira has lost 2 of her cubs overnight, so already I'm sad beyond words...
