[x] Why do the costume department on merlin do this to me? it's like they know I have a thing for very handsome men in open-fronted linen shirts with leather wristcuffs.
[x] I'd like to be seeing more of Santiago Cabera. ASH only wanted to banish him because it was way to hot for Camelot.
[x] LOLGuinevere/Lancelot. That's all I'm saying.
[x] The Griffin sadly looked a bit pastede on yay.
[x] I have just noticed that the 'spells' are in Welsh. I don't know what they are saying, mind.

Next Week:
[x] OMG! Julian Rhind-Tutt - under a pile of make-up so as not to have the viewers distracted by his hotness.
[x] Does EVERYONE, other that the central cast, know that Merlin had super mad skillz? It certainly seems like it.



NB: I'm watching it on BBC Two so I'm only up to episode 3.
[x] I like Micah and felt really sorry for him when he met Tracy Strauss. I hope the death of Nikki doesn't mean the end of Micah and his frankly awesome paternal family.
[x] The bit where Future!Peter knocked Peter out of Jesse's body was just like when Ichigo goes into the spirit world. I lol'd at the utter geekiness of my head when I realised that.
[x] Sylar being (mostly) nice is just really strange.
[x] The Gabriel/Noah cop!buddy storyline is full of the lulz. It's completely cracktastic but it also works so well, in the single episode I've seen so far. I'm guessing that it doesn't last though.
[x] Daphne called Hiro Pikachu. This amused me greatly; as did them cocking up the Haitian's plan and ending up locked up on level 5. How's Hiro going to get out of this one?
[x] Who else noticed the 9th Wonders comicbook?

[x] Booth's kid is dead cute.

I'm liking the sound of Charlie Brooker's Dead Set for a number of reasons:
a) It's written by Charlie Brooker - the world's most pissed off TV critic
b) It's a zombie apocalypse on Big Brother eviction night
c) It's got loads of ex-BB housemates in it (hopefully being violently killed by aforementioned zombies)

Still loving Merlin (am considering doing weekly recaps, the lurve is so strong), and I seem to have had exactly the same thoughts as you about the linen shirts! The Beeb could make a fortune flogging them on their website. Make YOUR man look this fit, ladies! Buy now for Christmas!

I am longing for them to keep new BFFs Sylar and Bennett together for more stories, because it's as mad as a box of frogs, and yet it's brilliant. If I had endless money and a TV channel, I'd spin them off into their own AU series where they just fight crime and snark at each other forever.
