It's Wishlist Time!
November 12th, 2008 01:10 pmPlease can you be linking me to your wishlists, I want to spread the festive cheer:
[Poll #1295935]
This year’s list is split into three sections and there’s something for everyone.
The rules:
Step One:
♥ Make a post, with a list of ten holiday wishes
♥ If you wish for real things include your contact details
♥ post the rules in your journal (or in my case the edited rules)
Step Two:
♥ surf the flist/random journals to find other wishlists
♥ If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true.
♥ don't spend any money unless you really want too, it's not to put people out but to spread joy
Good Karma:
[x] Donate a blanket or an hour of your time to your local animal shelter (although be warned, you may end up going home with something warm and fluffy – and they’re for life, not just for Christmas)
[x] Make a charity donation to Lingen Davies Cancer Appeal or the Severn Hospice (both worthy appeals who have helped friends and family over the last few years) (Don’t forget to Gift Aid it so they get the tax deductions back from the Government)
Freebies:
[x] Make me an icon or write me a ficlet. A quick wonder through my interests will give you an idea of what I like.
[x] send me an electronic Christmas card – only proviso is that you make it yourself and not use one of them rubbish pre-made websites.
[x] Send me cat macros. I love a good cat macro, me.
If you’re feeling a bit flush:
[x] Regular readers may have noticed that I'm a bit into my glass making at the moment. I'd love you to send me sharp glass in the post ;)
[x] A wee bit of paid account time.
[x] My Amazon Wishlist can be found here
[x] My Threadless Wishlist
[x] Glass and metal beads (or beadcaps)
The not very likely
[x] David Tennant in my stocking (or David Tennant in stockings - you know me, not that fussy, even an autograph would fill me with seven shades of squee)
[x] An absence of work stress and woes

- Bits of Bullseye COE90, art glass or dichroic glass 1.6/2mm or 3mm, or COE 90 coloured frit (Coarse or Medium). I certainly don’t need full sheets or anything, offcuts/seconds will be just fine (some websites, like Warm Glass (and Delphi Glass in the US) do student packs/off-cuts packs, they'd be perfect). You can also pick up off-cut mixes dead cheap on eBay. (It needs to be COE90 though as that is the glass I’ve already got and mixing different glass can cause explosions in the old kiln, which would be bad.)
You can also get me gift vouchers from Warm Glass UK or The Creative Glass Guild then the next time I'm down that way I can go shopping - Clay texture plates/sheets; doesn’t have to be PMC-specific, fimo ones and polymer clay ones work just as well
- Clay cutters/cookie cutters, flowers, hearts, circles and squares – just little ones, nothing really over an inch and a half because I don’t have the facilities to make big pieces of jewellery.
[x] A wee bit of paid account time.

Date: Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 08:51 pm (UTC)You already commented on mine, btw, and hinted that you might be able to help me with a personalized LJ layout. I have already got a few vague ideas, but it might take me some time to scribble them down. I'd be more than happy to get it, for say, Easter or May morning or whatever... :)

Date: Sunday, November 16th, 2008 03:20 pm (UTC)By the way, you could please tell his Lordship to contact me via Rivrea[at]gmx[dot]net, just like last year? I'd like to ask him to remove something quietly from your Amazon wishlist because I'd like to give that for Christmas very much.
