[x] In traumatic cat news, I have discovered today that Small-faced Kitten's people have put their house up for sale. Soon I no can haz a Small-faced Kitten. This fill me with woes. (His Lordship points out that they care so little for him that they'll as likely leave him behind when they move and we get a new cat). ETA: Apparently it is now 'sale agreed' :(

[x] From this, I will have to video Bilbo when we open a tin of tuna, because that's him manipulating at his very best.

[x] Via sal101010: Guess the film from one letter of the Movie Poster - another time suck from Empire. I got 18. I could have done so much better. If His Lordship gets less than 30 I'll be shocked. Shocked!

[x] In other news, Lovefilm are sending out Blu-Ray discs with a new protective covering on the disks (because Blu-Rays are well expensive). Unfortunately they don't seem to work in PS3s (well ours at least) which stubbornly refuse to read the disk at all.

The protective covering doesn't work in our PS3 either. We had to take the covering off!

Blu-Ray discs are already covered in a special coating to protect them from various scratches and other damage, i guess the other covering is probably making it hard/impossible for the blu-ray drive in the PS3 to read the discs.

Got a respectable-ish 22 on the quiz. I don't know why some of them (like Clerks) suddenly came to me. Clearly some posters use better fonts than others.

The Empire quiz is indeed a lovely time suck. To my shame, I only got ten correct results and missed about half a dozen really obvious clues (Psycho, Scream, Jurassic Park, Fight Club, ...).
