What did you do this year that you'd never done before?
I did a baby. I'd never done that before. Also changed a nappy for the first time. (And so far 400 times since).
Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any this year and I won't make any next year either. I never end up keeping them.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Loads of people did. My best friend from school, me and two close friends are due to give birth in the UK.
Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully no.
What countries did you visit?
Wales. I know, rubbish.
What would you like to have next year that you lacked this year?
More time to do kiln stuff. I wasn't allowed while I was pregnant. There's a lot of craft things that I really want to do.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
The Baby formerly known as Cheddar.
What was your biggest failure?
That is definitely a TMI baby issue.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Does morning sickness count? Lots of colds and a chest infection. Not too bad actually.
What was the best thing you bought?
My new Aspire One netbook. I'm back on the internet again, yay.
Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My best friend who made a little baby girl; His Lordship's first nappy change; Bilbo becoming a more chilled, loving cat.
Where did most of your money go?
On the Baby Formerly Known as Cheddar and paying off my car finance. Finally, after three years I own it. hoorah!
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The Baby Formerly Known as Cheddar, getting tickets to see Muse and Derren Brown next year after missing them this year. Getting to see some of my lovely LJ friends.
What song will always remind you of the year?
Muse - The Resistance. For it's crazy Queen!stylings and absolute silliness.
Compared to this time last year, are you
happier or sadder? Happier.
thinner or fatter? Thinner.
richer or poorer? Poorer, but it's worth it.
What do you wish you'd done more of?
More crafty stuff, spent more time with my LJ friends
What do you wish you'd done less of?
Stressed over my Pregnancy.
What was your favourite TV program?
Doctor Who, Children of Earth, Fringe, Chuck ♥
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
There's a couple of people who have severely pissed me off, both in real life and online, but life is too short to seriously hate them.
What was the best book you read?
I read a lot of books but there were no real standouts. :(
What was your greatest musical discovery?
Claire and the Reasons.
What was your favourite film of this year?
Star Trek
What did you do on your birthday?
Had a party night in a converted barn in Wales with 9 of my best friends. With cake, party bags and pin the tail on the donkey. Brilliant.
