Some Thinks on the End of Time

Wilf is quite awesome. Even when he was trapped in the perspex box he was still all dignified and brilliant.

I loved the scene between him and the Doctor on the spaceship. It almost made me a bit teary.

I wonder what happened to Romana if Dalton!Rassilon was the President? And who was the other Time Lord with their hands over their face? I like how corrupt the Time Lords are, I'm a bit sad though that the masterplan of the Time Lords was to end time, the universe and everything and become non-corporeal beings. That's a rubbish masterplan. The sort of masterplan that even Davros would discard was being a bit bod. And it was a waste to have them come back for just two episodes too. I notice that the Master ended off going with them, so I suppose if the Master is ever brought back then the other Time Lords will come along too.

I really liked the Doctor's final words. (And obviously Tennant's senitment too).

I didn't like the Return of the King style ending. The Doctor is dying of radiation posioning and still finds the time to go and see everyone to say bye? Poor. I am glad that Wilf and Donna didn't die as I was sure that that was going to be their ending. Bit annoyed at the criminal underuse of Donna in the specials. Really, what was the point in having her. I was sure that something brilliant would happen when she was faced by all the Simm!Masters, but no, it was just another cop out.

Billie's Rose!voice still sounded like she had a mouth full of cotton wool. But yay Jackie! I always like to see Jackie. WTF with Martha and Mickey being married? (Although they will have quite awesome offspring). WHAT ABOUT TOM? Poor Tom.

The "It's a Homage" cantina scene was just an excuse to dust off all the old alien costumes (as they probably couldn't afford to make new aliens) and I'm positive that the Doctor matchmaking Jack with Midshipman Frame (Allons-y Alonso!) is going to massively piss off a lot of people. Me? I'm always happy to see Tovey on my Telly.

It was all a bit too neat. All the ends tied off. I'm guessing that we'll see none of them again during Moff Tiem.

I like what I saw of Eleven, although the very post-regeneration scene was a lot like Ten's. I'm sad to see the end of the current TARDIS design. I'm a massive fan of the coral and green look.




And that S5 trailer? It made me do this face: :D And I need to see some Eleven icons too.

Some of my friends are confused/mad that I'm so excited, but I AM!
We got FOUR YEARS OF TENNANT! And he was awesome in them all!
As much as I love him, I think it's time. And Matt seems up for it. He's so.. weird. I LOVE IT!

New Tardis outershell and New Set for a New Doctor.

Matt Smith looks quite promising. I like that Moffat has continued with the naff catchphrases the Doctor uses just after he regenerates hehe

Oh really? I did not know of the new set plans.
But it makes sense.

I'm so excited. When Chris left, I was all "who's this new weirdo with big hair? I hate him, not gonna watch, etc etc" and I loved Ten/David. So now I've learned my lesson.
Gonna wait to judge, but that trailer + Moffat + Smith just LOOKS good!

Well the old Tardis set is pretty much banged up now. Plus it doesn't look that great when shot up close in HD from what people have said in the know.

I do know quite a bit about the new series via Gallifreybase (some of it will be wrong but that's the name of the game with spoilers), but I'm keeping quiet about that stuff. Suffice to say most members of the cast and crew are apparently quite impressed with Matt Smith's performances. It appears Moffat has a man crush on him lol

Some people are so sad now, but in my mind, Ten/Rusty is a dead show. I celebrated it.
Now it's as if a BRAND new show is starting. New actors/writers/set, etc. I can't stop my squeeing, hee!

Well as soon as Matt Smith appeared i thought "Roll on the new Series".

RTD and co have done a great body of work and have left the show in good shape for the Moff. Can't wait to see how it all develops.

I quite liked Mickey and Martha together - it was cool!

I am already very much looking forward to series 5 and also want Eleven icons! I feel all unfaithful to Mr Tennant though!
