Hey [livejournal.com profile] steviesun, are you home safe? It looks really bad down your way again. Stupid snow.

Today it was a heady 3*C round my way. I could actually go outside without a hat and gloves on. I love the snow but I am getting a bit bored of it. And I'm getting really annoyed with stupid people who think it's fine to drive at high speed on the slushy roads. Idiots.

Oh god, I'm so bored of it too. We need some torrential rain or a thunderstorm by way of a change.

I'm so over the snow. It either needs to clear up so I get back into the swing of going into the office, or get nice and deep so that it's vaguely exciting again and then melt two days later.

At this stage, I'd welcome some serious rain or a nice storm* just to shake things up a little.

*Interesting weather, but without all the negatives that go with it (accidents, death, bad things) of course.

Snow's starting to melt here and I'm not all that far from you... (near Whitchurch).

I'm with you about being angry at twatty dangerous drivers. :-/ It's not just their own lives (and cars) they are putting at risk...

She did get home safe - I sit here worrying every day. Rather pathetically.

Yes I did. I worry that my team leader didn't. Haldon Hill on the A38 is on her way home as far as I know.

Stupid work. My lift isn't going in today, there's too little traffic moving, the roads are covered in inches of slush - and work suggested I see what the conditions are like in a couple of hours because it's melting.

Thankfully although we didn't get the car back into the square we did get back into the village. It is melting now (you go outside and hear drip drip drip) but there's just so much to melt . . .

No, don't wish for rain! We had rain, and then it snowed *again*, creating ankle-deep slush or, as I like to call it, road lube.

Apparently it's heading my way again.

Enough to cover the ice and make things grippy again would be good.

We had at least another 4" in the last 12 hours or so and I'm still loving it! Sorry.
