The end of an era

What with me going back to work tomorrow after my six month "holiday"^[1] and having to do a 10-hour day on a Monday I've gone and bitten the bullet and have given up my Monday who_daily slot.

It's all very weird to think that I won't be doing it on a Monday any more. My first edition was 11th September 2006 and it's been as massive part of my life since then. Initially I was only doing a Monday, but as no one volunteered to do Sunday I picked that one up too (that's why I was the only newsletter edition for quite a while doing two days).

I'll still be doing Sundays so I've not given it up entirely just yet. I don't think I can. :D

^[1]I swear, if someone says that to me at work tomorrow I WILL cut them without a second thought.

Not having you on Monday's is weird and has tilted my world askew. I'm amazed that you hung in so long with two days but it really does feel like the the end of an era. :(

Good luck not tearing off anyone's faces. I remember an unfortunate incident where my BIL made an off-the-cuff comment that he wished he could "stay home all day and play with the kids" like his wife.
