Set it up so people can x-post to Twitter or Facebook - but anyone can x-post comments from your FLocked posts without needing your permission. There's no opt out option - you have to do a CSS work-around to remove the x-post options from your entries' comments.

The CSS doesn't work on ppl such as me who use ?style=mine or ?format=light. :-/

And pingbacks are working again... even if you have them switched off.
