Radio One's Entertainment News
December 14th, 2005 07:22 amThey also had this to say on the website:
Dr Who Christmas Special
The new Dr Who, David Tennant, faced the media yesterday at the first screening of the Christmas special. He admitted he felt pressure taking over from Christopher Ecclestone but revealed he has signed up for at least two series. Writer Russell T Davies told us he wants to turn Dr Who into a movie and David's up for that too.
Dr Who review
David Tennant makes the role his own, with a London accent he's quirky and slightly unhinged - he's very funny but can be sinister too. There are lots of laugh out loud moments, far more than previous episodes, with witty references to other movies. There's a killer Christmas tree and santas which could be silly but are actually spooky and there's an anti-war message. There's amazing chemistry between the Doctor and Rose played by Billie Piper - we were also shown a clip from the new series that shows them kissing but they refused to say if they will have a proper relationship.
Eccleston, It's Eccleston! *growls*
