February 25th, 2012 08:16 pmSo, I read The Hunger Games. I started reading the first book not that long after it came out but for some reason stopped reading it. I picked it up again and read it and the two sequels in just under five days (and that with work and a small child).
As far as YA phenomenons go, it's a lot better than Twilight. Even if the lead is completed effed up (which, frankly, is unsurprising.)
Thought the first two books were really good and the third the weakest (again, not surprising considering we're going with the POV of someone with PTSD).
And at some point I suppose I'll see the film too. Although probably via Lovefilm. We don't go to the cinema nowadays. Too many annoying people in the audience!!
