March 26th, 2008 08:36 pmThis week so far I r been mostly watching:
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer
Looked very nice, well directed. Alan Rickman was as wonderful as ever (and looking good in his powdered wig), but it didn't really grab me. I didn't care for any of the characters, not even the poor girls he murdered.
4/10
Run Fatboy Run
ILU Simon Pegg! But it's wrong to see you in a film without Nick Frost. Dylan Moran (playing Dylan Moran) was a worthy substitute though. Although I think I could have lived without seeing Dylan Moran's pasty white arse (bless). Simon Pegg in his pants is a totally different story though. And why is it that Thandie Newton is only employed to make men miserable? I have evidence to back this up: she made Noah Wyle cry in ER, she made WickyWickyWill Smith all emo in The Pursuit of Happyness and now she made Simon Pegg sad in this.
7/10
Bourne Ultimatum
Absolute win and I get to use the Mirror's description of Matt (Maaaaaaaaaaattt Daaaaaaammmmon) Damon (Body of an action hero, face of a potato). Exciting, engaging and Julia Stiles was unannoying.
8.5/10
The Colour of Magic
Only seen the first part so far. Much love for Sean Astin and David Jason. Tom Curry is made of win (as always). Will try and get to watch the second part tomorrow.
