Serendipity

I saw the ever-lovely Elbow the other week at the Academy in Birmingham and I actually use this icon in a completely related sense. As I am made of fail I am only writing my review now when I've got a spare few minutes at work. Elbow, please don't think that I love you any less.

The band were brilliant, I love going to see them very much and they're always worth the ticket price.

And then the parking cost us £6.40 for two hours and ten minutes in a city Centre car park. Bloody Hell Birmingham, why rip us off so much! It's not as if you're a poor city. Bloody Tories.

Oh, I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to the fun and frollicks of Elbow tonight. I may have already seen them once this year (at Leeds) but the Academy in Brum is much more intimate and we'll be able to get snuggled up close.

I need to get some batteries though so I can have a go at getting some nice piccies of Guy and the band.

Because we're enjoying the music of Bury's finest we're missing the Pub Quiz tonight so instead Claire and Hugh are writing their own quiz for us to do in the car on the way home. They've even done a music round and everything, so you lot can have a go at that tomorrow instead :D

I wish I was feeling better though. My head is still killing me, but I think I need a few more days for the antibiotics to start kicking in properly. I don't think the central heating is helping it either so I've turned off the radiator by my desk, see if that helps 'owt.

Hopefully when I get home my winnings from eBay will be waiting for me, I've ordered a remote for Dave the iRiver and the last book in the High Lord Trilogy.

I've just seen the Madonna video. It's got all of irradiated's favourite things in it! *counts off on fingers* Madonna, DDR, Madonna dancing on DDR and hot guys. *laughs*
