Randomly linked: one of the kids down our street had got one of those wind-up flying Rex's. It's rather cute. And it flies really well.

[x] The beach scenes are like the start of an episode of Casualty, I'm playing spot-the-accident waiting to happen. Will it be in the man buried in the sand, the bloke who likes Yazz, the surfer kids...
[x] We tend to forget that the anomalies also go into the future as well as the past. I wonder if the next series will focus more on future-creatures?

I'm not sure if that was a satisfying end to the series or not. I'll have to think on it a bit.

They're making a TV show based on X Factor. FAIL.
Pushing Daisies on actual proper telly. WIN!!! Please, please please watch it when ITV start showing it.

Hopefully ITV1HD will have launched when Pushing Daises starts airing. It might mean ITV actually increase it's poor bits to something acceptable.

It does take a few episodes to really get going, but I do love it and it's gentle black comedy. His Lordship cannot stand it though.

Ooh, thanks for the heads up about Pushing Daisies being on proper telly, I've been wanting to watch it ever since you started going on about it being the best thing EVAR but I'm just not organised enough to download telly. ITV seems to have gone all !win!, I see they have bought Dexter too, which, by all accounts, is excellent too. I'll never understand why they hide Supernatural on ITV2..
