This week, even more bollocks from Derren. Please go back to your Trick of the Mind stuff, that is actually entertaining.

[x] Jive Talking Timothy Westwood - made me chuckle. The guessing of the car speeds was very cool though. I want more of these sorts of tricks, they're fun and silly.

[x] Anyway, isn't Derren banned from all casinos in the world ever because of his naughty card-counting ways.

[x] How did nice-but-dim bloke not notice the cameraman stood outside his window, especially as he was watching the telly too.

[x] I'd have liked to have seen more ball-throwing in the squash court. Getting it right first time lie that is very reminiscent of the fakery he did with the coin tossing trick he did on the last series of Trick and Treat (or was it the horse betting special, I can't remember). Best of three please Derren.

[x] And you can get much small 'concealed cameras' too. You might as well walk in with a full camera crew as stick that thing up your sleeve. And the interference and poor image quality was laughable. the real Hustle has a much smaller budget yet amazingly better camerawork.

[x] He was very close on his numbers, just not quite close enough. I was actually impressed by that, because if he could guess the number through the highly scientific method of foot tapping then any drummer with a bit of co-ordination could make a killing on the roulette wheels.

[x] I like it when stuff goes wrong, although I still think the whole thing was set up and the 'casino' was a set, because the camera truck Derren was sat in at the start was identical to the one outside the poor fool's flat. It's okay though. Derren is a millionaire, he can afford to pay him back. But seemingly not afford to pay for anyone to be at the casino, only two extras there?

I will however be checking out www.channel4.com/scienceofscams - all about proving that the 'paranormal' (like automatic writing and the like) is a big pile of fakerypooh because that'll be actually entertaining.

There's going to be a lot of pissed off Derren fans tonight, methinks. I'm just highly amused by it all as it still fits in with my theory that this whole series is to prove just how gullible we are.

If it was me having my five thousand pounds bet on the wheel, I would have just burst into hysterical laughter when it didn't work. Three reasons:
1) It is likely to be a stitch-up.
2) Even if it's not, Derren'll be able to pay me back.
3) I was NOT expecting the failure.

Also, he has apparently been spending a year furiously obsessing over lottery numbers AND spent the SAME year furiously obsessing over the roulette wheel. Doesn't this show have continuity editors?
